Export Markets for Your Business

Join Greater Burnside Business Association (GBBA) members and guests in learning more about the services available to Nova Scotia companies who are interested in beginning to export or in expanding into new foreign markets.

The Greater Burnside Business Association represents members from Burnside, Dartmouth Crossing and City of Lakes.  The value of these parks to the economy is substantial:

• Total output of the three parks is $7.5 billion
• Generates $33.6 million in municipal taxes, $263 million in provincial taxes, and $262 million federally
• Employs more than 52,600 full time equivalent jobs
• Generates $1.8 billion in household income

Trade Team Nova Scotia (TTNS) is a partnership of federal, provincial and private sector organizations dedicated to helping Nova Scotia companies export their goods and services globally.  TTNS services including market research, export training, counselling and mentoring, and access to government programs.   Christine Smith, Senior Trade Commissioner for the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and Mike McMurray, Director Trade Development, Nova Scotia Business Inc., will provide an overview of programs available to your business, and how to access them.
